Review on Maxxima Dimmable Lumens Energy - Industrial Electrical Lighting Components by Miranda Jones

These lamps do not dim. For me

Good bright bulb, good color at 3000K and good price. I tested all six lamps, they work the same. I'm torn on whether to give this lamp 3 or 4 stars, the reason is that it barely dims. With these in a commercial building with lots of lighting fixtures, I wanted to try them. The description and packaging says the brightness can be adjusted, but the bulb does not indicate that the brightness can be adjusted. I use an old commercial dimmer. I have two identical Feit BR30 bulbs which are very similar to these Maxxima bulbs at full brightness. Feit lights dim well down to around 10% brightness, Maxxima lights dim up to a maximum of 50%! The reflector light of a 65W incandescent lamp is dimmed to approx. 1% on the same dimmer. I wonder if these are really dimmable LED bulbs. We have the use of non-dimmable lamps, but we must continue to look for dimmable ones. Feit were quite expensive, wouldn't buy much at that price.

Pros
  • 720 lumens luminous flux - 8W power consumption - 3000K warm white
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
