iPhone sometimes won't charge. how to fix it

I've spent many weeks researching and comparing different wireless chargers and reading customer reviews. Every charger I've liked ended up with many complaints that the charger worked fine at first but eventually stopped working. Ultimately, I chose this charger based on the positive customer reviews. Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks, the same issue started appearing where my iPhone XS would not charge intermittently. Luckily I found a way to charge it. When you place your phone on the charger, the screen should turn on and show the battery, and you should hear a beep indicating that the charger has recognized the phone and is charging. If the screen does NOT turn on and you do NOT hear a beep, do the following: (1) Disconnect your phone from the charger (2) Disconnect the power cord from the back of the charger (3) Wait a few seconds and then plug it back on and finally ( 4) put the phone back on the charger. I don't know why, but the charger seems to be working again for me. I usually have to do this once or twice a week. Otherwise I like this charger. It's very slim and attractive (many other chargers I looked at looked chunky). The watch charger is reliable and works very well, and unlike many of its competitors, it has its own built-in magnetic watch mount so you don't have to buy your own. I don't have AirPods so I can't comment on an AirPod charger that can also be used to charge a second phone or iPod. Overall, this is a decent charger for the money (especially since it comes with a magnetic watch mount).
