I'm not a runner who has admired HOKA from afar but couldn't justify spending money on it. Scored a pair of super clearances at the end of summer and fell in love. It was like walking on clouds. However, I wanted to find an alternative to HOKA because I still have a hard time parting with $150-$200 for a pair of sneakers. I bought them right after Thanksgiving after noticing a significant price difference and solid reviews. I figured since I'll be wearing them everyday it's worth a try. I also figured if I didn't like them then my 11 year old could walk around town in them with the same foot size ruining every pair of shoes he's ever had. It was a low risk purchase. I bought them yesterday and put them on as soon as I received them. They are incredibly comfortable and appear to be of good quality. You look sharp. The tongue is a bit thinner than the HOKA, but that doesn't bother me. The rest of my foot feels supported. Of course he has only worn a few hours in his whole life, but so far I am satisfied. By far the nicest and most comfortable sneakers I've ever bought for under $40. If they fit, I will buy them again!
