Mine have survived two international trips and wear just as well

they're really strong. The wire is thick, and I suspect most bags have a handle that will detach before it breaks. I made sure to fasten the clasp tightly so it doesn't get lost in shipping. So far my bags have survived two trips abroad and carried themselves just as well. Another feature I like is that the daylight yellow I bought makes my bags very easy to spot. Back in the US in Charlotte last month it really helped. As I stood at the baggage claim counter at Customs, I saw my bag go down the conveyor belt. Right in front of me, an elderly couple picked it off the assembly line and turned to go. From the label I was sure it was mine. I went up to them, pointed to the label and said I think they got the wrong thing. They handed it over and apologized for the mistake! I guess they only had an identical bag and it was an honest mistake, but it saved me the huge hassle of being stuck in customs with no checked bags. That incident alone was worth the price of the tags.

Pros
  • cool stuff
Cons
  • big and bulky
