This belt is nice and wide so you will need full length belt loops to pull it through. Sizes are as advertised so don't worry about running too small or ordering a size up. The belt itself is very strong and doesn't stretch like an elastic belt, but it flexes fairly easily if you lean forward or put a lot of pressure on the belt. I use mine for work and have to bend over regularly and my old belt (leather) was very uncomfortable doing this. This strap holds my pants in place and only really flexes when you need it. I don't know how well it will hold up over time, but in the short term it's exceeding my expectations. stains fabric and when stretched when dyed, they are very difficult to clean (because they remain completely wrinkled when washed, and it takes a lot of effort to stretch and clean while stretching).
