Definitely NOT a full "plug and play " kit + POOR customer service

I have 2 reasons why I don't want to give this product more than 3 stars. First because it is advertised as "plug and play". Sure, there are some basic plugs, but for the 4Runner in particular, it's NOT plug and play. You need to connect (at least) one wire and use the included lock activation relay. They also do not provide the appropriate hardware for this. The supplied tee is too small and a larger one was needed as the locking wire (+) was too small. And for those wondering, connect to the blue wire located in the lower right corner of the center horizontal wire harness in the driver's side footboard. My 2nd reason has to do with instructions. The instructions were a bit easy to read but the layout was awful and hard to follow! It wasn't a step-by-step process - unfortunately it was broken up into large, disorganized paragraphs, requiring you to read the entire paragraph and hopefully retain the necessary information. I know it's best to read everything before doing stuff like this, but this could definitely be made a bit easier. Having completed the process, I could now simplify it with just a few steps. But the instructions provided created a headache for the process. Overall I'm happy with it, but I really wish I'd known it wasn't going to be easy – at least for my car. EDIT: Lowering my rating to one star due to poor customer service from this company. After installing the kit, I kept encountering the issue of the car alarm sounding every time I tried to start the car remotely after it had been sitting for hours. So I contacted customer service through their online form. They refused even to think of helping me until I gave them the order number - as it was a gift and I no longer have the box I don't have the order number to give them. I explained to them exactly what machine and equipment I had, so there should be absolutely no reason why I couldn't get help. I still have a decision to make. EDIT 2: Finally got a response from their support team after 4 days. If you have a factory alarm (like most 4Runners) there seems to be another wire you need to connect the steering column to. This is definitely NOT a plug and play system and should NOT be advertised as such. And unless you have intermediate or advanced knowledge of vehicle wiring, you shouldn't plan to install this yourself.
