Bought because I noticed a small, slightly flat spot on my son's head at 3 months and wanted to avoid it getting any worse and I don't have to wear a helmet. My son was able to use this for about 4 nights before he started moving around the crib and wouldn't stay on the pillow. Even with this limited use, I noticed that the part that should have been at the base of his neck was already starting to flatten out. The return policy makes returns almost impossible, so now I have a $100 pillow that is of very little use, but I can't return it. I would recommend getting some of the cheaper pillows but using them once your baby is born. .
