I had low expectations for this bread bin but it seems to work well. I baked 2 loaves of bread and decided to freeze one to keep it from drying out and getting moldy. When this bread keeper came along I decided to keep an extra loaf in it until I used up another one. I wrapped the bread loosely in wax paper but after a week the bread was still fresh. The crust has softened, but there is no way around it. I'm pleased with the utility, size, ease of installation, magnetic closure and see-through window, all great, btw, looks like previous complaints about the screen protector breaking have been addressed. Mine came with window tape stretched across the frame, but the bot even touched the "glass" and came loose easily. No problem.
