Love that it fits so well. For protection - I'd say it's a 5 star badge. However, there are a few downsides. 1) The touchscreen is sometimes unresponsive at the top and bottom because you have to press harder on the edges than in the middle. This means that there is enough space between the protective film and the device that a light touch will interfere with use. I still like it, I've kept it and got used to it. 2) The hole for the headphone/speaker jack is tiny so many of my cables won't fit. I know it's dated but I prefer it for the sound quality and battery life (when not using bluetooth speakers) and some settings don't enable BT. Also, I know that this suitcase is safe and has survived many trips and other events. The clasps are VERY tight when closed and the size/fit is like pantyhose. If the above two issues are not a problem for your iPod Touch, then I recommend this case. *Added a photo in response to a question about charging cables. I connected a standard Apple Lightning cable; There MAY be an extra 1mm of space (don't look at the black part of the case, look at the blue one which will determine the actual size of what fits). ** I couldn't find a speaker/headphone jack that would fit in the tiny access port. I have a few that are minimalist in size; The smallest is 5mm and doesn't go through the case far enough to connect to my iPod touch. Something has to be modified to make it fit.
