I was very disappointed that my IKEA pillow inserts filled my IKEA pillowcases. In particular, they didn't fill them all out and looked sloppy once touched or used. I decided to try and buy them instead and I'm so glad I did. I've read online that buying a pillow insert an inch larger than your bedspread can help to ensure the pillow is well filled. I have 20x20 covers and 21x21 is not a standard pillow size so I chose 22x22. They work great. I had to stuff them a bit to zip up, but they look stylish in the pillowcase and are very comfortable. I have a hard sofa so I need comfortable pillows. They are the perfect pillow for my restless back. I've only had them for a few days so can't comment on durability but so far I'm very happy with this purchase. I will never buy IKEA pillow inserts again! UPDATE: Almost a year later, these insert pillows are still holding up, looking great, and showing no signs of clumping despite daily use on the couch. Definitely worth buying!
