I would give fewer stars if I could. I plugged the cable into the USB port. Even before I connected the other end to the device, the air started smelling strange. I look down and the end of the string melts and bubbles. Connecting for less than 30 seconds will cause image corruption. After seeing that I bought a cable to charge my kids' Kindles, I'm very thankful it happened now and not when one of the kids was sitting right next to the charger. This is a dangerous product and has nothing to do with the market.
