This is a well tailored sweater (shirt for sea lovers) with lots of detailing and nice stitching. The problem is that it doesn't work on long skinny dogs like a whippet or in my case a chihuahua whippet mix. I ordered 14 in the back which was his size but that left an oversized chest and neck with very long legs. didn't come back just stitched and stitched to make it work. I really needed him to completely cover up his pre-surgery sprained knees and I knew I had to plug the hole from the window photos. I took the neck, shoulders, tucked them in the back to raise the chest, trimmed the seam on the back of the pants to make them flatter and lifted the seam on the stomach, and also sewed the legs and trimmed 4 inches the legs and lined. lol just skip this if your dog has an odd shape like mine. works on a thick sausage mold. Maybe it will be smaller as there is still a lot of space on mine.
