These are good bulbs with shunts so the cord will glow if the filament burns out. My mistake is that I agreed to let Revain ship them with another order that they had packed together in one box. The lights (which came in a nice plastic case) popped open and they all rumbled in a box with another heavy object. Three lightbulbs were broken. The rest had copper wires twisted together from rolling in the box. They were a mess to straighten again. I would return them but didn't have time to wait for a replacement. Three lightbulbs broke on the way; Two lightbulbs blew out as soon as I checked them. You can't blame the manufacturer for defective lightbulbs, only two defective lightbulbs that burned out immediately. But two out of 100 is not bad. I would buy from them again. UPDATE: I ordered another set of 100 bulbs and they were sent to me separately. Arrived unopened, no broken bulbs. I pulled a thread of 100 and all but one of the lamps worked. I warn you that even in a closed plastic container; These bulbs rotate and the copper wires are twisted together. I used an ice pick (or toothpick) to insert into the base of the bulb and pull straight up to untangle the copper wires so they are separated and not touching. Now the bulb is ready to be installed in the socket. I had to do this for each lightbulb.
