I love the look of this cap and the satin is very soft. The only problem is getting your hair in it. If you have long hair or curly hair that you want to protect, this hat probably isn't for you. The hole is very small, even when the elastic is fully unbuttoned, you can't throw it over your head to encase the curls. You would have to tuck them in which would make grooming them pointless as it would crush curl and style if you just try to tuck them in. I found I had to pull the hat all the way over my head like a ski mask to gather my hair in one go. which is of course not ideal. and then the hood fell off a couple of times in bed meaning it's too small to handle the curls and not that reliable either. This hat/hat is good for style and worn as a protective fashion statement if you don't mind your hair sticking up, but if you plan on sleeping with it on to protect your tresses this isn't the only girlfriend. buy something with a bigger bore.
