The wood is a bit thin but it's a nice slim piece

The good news is that this block is good for tight spaces and fits where I need it. However, I can only give it a 2 or 3. The hinges on my unit split the side wood, and the bottom of the storage compartment was also cracked - so slightly thicker bamboo will probably work wonders to avoid this type of problem. Although I would normally return it, I was able to fix it because it was perfect for my purpose (the size was just what I needed). But 2 will hopefully encourage the manufacturer to increase the thickness of the wood a bit. The block would stand out if the block was 1/8 inch thicker on the sides and 1/16 inch thicker than the fins, for example.
