Summer and it's time to hike again. Basically I got this for two reasons: 1) as a multipurpose protection tool to keep in the car. 2) as a tool to take with you on hikes. It's in that order. And I have to say the tool looks well made, especially when you take out the knife, it can be a deadly weapon, an ax on one side, a knife on the other. And it looks pretty intimidating. Only time will tell is how it will hold up to rust, but I'm not sure this powder black finish will hold up well over time, but it's not that expensive so I'm less worried , if so. All in all a good device for the money.
