I've been using lip balms for over five decades. This is no different as my lips cracked and flaked MORE when applying the product. I've found that there are very few products that actually help. I also see in reviews that others say their lips are still flaky and cracked after using it. My lips are just covered in lotion and have not healed. It has no taste, but you can smell lemon balm, which is not unpleasant, but not desirable for me.
