WARNING: People don't seem to learn how to use it before they buy it. This is a good product.

First, don't put it over the dog's head! You can hurt your dog and not get the right fit. To put it on properly, pinch one of the links until it slips off the other. Essentially, just like tabs, you place it neatly right at the base of the school to make sure it stays in place. It should run just under the ears and along the dog's skull to the bottom of the jaw. A loose collar with tines can cause serious injury. Well, when used properly, it's amazing, at least from what I've seen. The only problem was that some of the tabs were difficult to pin down to open a link. It's hard to adopt a dog. But most of the links were pretty basic so it didn't really matter. Another personal issue is that my 65 pound Australian Shepherd seems to be in-between sizes with a 16 inch neck. Caliber 3.0 seems too big, but the manufacturer says it's perfect. It also has a very thick coat that makes it difficult to remove. and sometimes disguised. After tons of training, he is a great dog and incredibly smart. His only flaw is his herd and control instincts. Ordinary dog food, if he has his way. All I have to say is that the only real fix that stopped the bad behavior immediately and allowed me to focus was this notched collar. I plan to use him more often when he needs it. again just to work his heel and so I can trust him. A light lead or whatever it's called works, but it's so easy to break and still doesn't give the same instant results as it does. Not to mention my dog hated this product. He tolerates the spiked collar at first, then after a few minutes pretends it doesn't exist. Again, I feel like it's too loose, but the results are still better than anything I could have hoped for. Remember to learn how to use this TOOL correctly, safely and effectively. Also, consider using it to train your dog. This is an invaluable tool for teaching your dog to trust and follow you. The very slight discomfort during this workout is such a relief compared to the trachea-crushing pull on the leash and the constant strain he is used to enduring. Just try it and make sure you get the real version and not the fake one.
