Pictured is metal but plastic.

As the title says, I got a plastic sensor instead of the metal sensor shown in the photo. Is it important? Probably not as most replacement DPF sensors these days are plastic. In fact, it could be better as condensation doesn't form as easily as it does on metal. Water is a killer for them.
