I needed to replace my 27" iMac with a new Mini. Not wanting to spend the money Apple wants on their monitors, I was looking. I've had a 27" iMac for about 10 years. , so it took my eyes a couple of weeks to get used to that matte screen. If you are a designer or a photographer, you might like this monitor. The colors are very close and pleasing to the eye. Cons: Monitor sleeps and mouse movements won't wake it up with Mac mini. You have to press the power button. It's a minor complaint, but it's annoying. So"speakers"-complete rubbish. I have speakers so I don't care but if you want decent sound with a monitor then this isn't for you.
