LOVE IT ! Can detect towing
This newer 4G version has a motion sensor. This will detect movement if the vehicle is towed or hit while parked. The device will turn on and broadcast for about the next 5 minutes until it detects motion again, and then repeats. This gives you useful clues as to when your car was hit or towed. And they might even tell you where your car was taken. Off topic, but FYI if you have the VIN you can look up online who towed your car. I keep my VIN and number plate on my mobile phone. Maybe this will help someone.
