Review on SAWMLIA Ultrasonic Repeller Electronic Repellent by Jason Nelsen

Good so I rated it 5 stars for EASY TO USE because you literally just plug it in and turn it on. BUT I refuse to use it even though I know for sure there are mice in the finished basement where I live now. Here's why: after receiving the product and reading the little product manual that came with it, I can't personally attest to the likely effects this tool is likely to have on innocent rodents. I understand that mice are a nuisance and most people don't care about anything other than getting rid of them. On the other hand, I believe there are more humane ways to influence these creatures to move their "nest" elsewhere. Mice are NOT in space INTENTIONALLY to cause inconvenience or drive you crazy. These very small creatures are driven by survival instincts - just like ALL other living things. They instinctively live in places where sources of FOOD, WARMTH AND SHELTER can be found. The small guide that accompanies this product explains the 4 steps to rid your living space of mice/rats. These phases are intentional (as written in the guide itself): 1) "Reduce the sense of smell" 2) "Break the hearing system" 3) "Reduce the chance of survival. Breaking the nervous system" 4) "Breaking your reproductive system" Whether or not the answer I received reading this information was intended by the distributor of this product - (what I understand is that it means a literal odor disorder,* NERVOUS SYSTEM and playback system) - I personally cannot support this type of device. Also, I have my own dog who is mostly in the same living area as me downstairs along with 5 other dogs and 2 cats who live on the 2 upper floors. at home, and this product does NOT mention whether this technology would be safe for pets. simply suggest a product they know will help solve your problem; Personally, I simply cannot support its use for these reasons. With that in mind, I hope you understand why I can't comment on its quality or effectiveness. As an additional note, the very last page of the manual says this should be effective against spiders, flies, ants and a few other insects found in the home (although I can't figure out what the pictures are - see my photos). ).
