For several years I have used $30 WYZE cameras to monitor activity outside my house so I could see cars or people on the sidewalk or pull up in the driveway. I decided to request this security camera for several reasons which I will cover in my PROS and CONS: FOR 1. 3 lane performance. Can be powered by the included solar panel, internal battery or USB cable (they supply a 5V adapter). 2. Wide coverage as you can swivel in all 4 directions3. Outstanding color and sharpness 4. Use your fingers to zoom in on the screen of your smartphone or tablet5. Use the very reliable Tuya app (I have dozens of smart sockets and lightbulbs that use the Tuya a/k/a SmartLife app. CONS 1. Only 3 PIR sensitivity options (vs sliding scale) 2. No zone selection. WYZE- Cameras give you segmented graphics so you can choose exactly where you want to detect movement. Using this camera in front of my house would be a nightmare as any person walking on the sidewalk would trigger an alert. Keep that in mind if you have a similar app to detect location, for this reason I deducted 2 stars, making this camera unsuitable for my home.
