They were ordered to hold small plastic and metal items bought online and scheduled to be shipped. We will use these high quality bags when the boxes are sometimes too big or too small for our needs and when the 4 mil plastic bags look too cheap for the product they contain. These packs have a much more sophisticated and expensive look than 4.mil and definitely look quality enough to replace boxes which is great. The bags look pretty cool and professional and they work as advertised. The only downside they have is that their internal volume is small. The Mylar material flexes very little as it expands and also because the two halves are bonded together, making use of plenty of available Mylar to create sealed edges. If you want an attractive, useful, and durable plastic bag with a resealable opening, these are a great choice as their cost per bag is higher than a regular old 4 mil zippered bag. above and both can be opened and closed. It just seems weird, but I think it's a feature and not a bug.
