Cover is difficult to install and why 11/16 " nuts

I used this or something similar once after when assembling the lugs No. 2/0 the lid doesn't fit the holes in the lid. Not a big deal really as I just had to drill more of it. Large bolts too. In my opinion after tightening the nuts, the lid should fit, and there are 5 Nuts /8" should be enough. The only reason I would give them less than 5 stars is that for the price they should be top notch.
