Cover is difficult to install and why 11/16 " nuts

I used this or something similar once after when assembling the lugs No. 2/0 the lid doesn't fit the holes in the lid. Not a big deal really as I just had to drill more of it. Large bolts too. In my opinion after tightening the nuts, the lid should fit, and there are 5 Nuts /8" should be enough. The only reason I would give them less than 5 stars is that for the price they should be top notch.

Pros
  • Nickel plated brass contact plate for optimum power transfer and weather resistance. Glass filled nylon base for superior insulation and strength
Cons
  • No instructions

Nuts on bolts wear out

location of my cables. and I couldn't unscrew them. I removed the bolts and nuts by cutting them in half with them a dremel.. I removed both terminal blocks, took them apart, replaced all 8 stainless steel screws with 3/8" x 1 1/2" zinc bolts and grade 5 nuts. Otherwise the terminal blocks are fine. Stainless steel threads are never-seized treated as thread abrasion is more common with stainless steel fasteners than with conventional screws.

Pros
  • 4 5/16" stainless steel studs making this power rail suitable for various applications
Cons
  • piggy bank price

Bolts are not studs. on accessories

What appeared to be a 4 stud tire is just a strip of metal with 4 3/8-16 bolts. The screw heads are in a hexagon shaped hole. The plastic is very hard and can take a good amount of torque. On the other hand, nuts and bolts cannot. I tightened 1 nut with decent torque to keep it from loosening. Non-killer torque for holding suspension parts. I added another ring connector and the nut stopped coming out 1/3 of the way. I tried to tighten it again and the nut wouldn't budge. Then I tried to…

Pros
  • Stainless steel equipment for extreme conditions including marine use - removable cover kit to protect ports
Cons
  • Compatibility
