We drink really strong red wines but hate that they take so long to open and vent - this aerator gets the job done, and fast! It's always interesting to hear the gurgle and see all the bubbles haha and we immediately feel that it's smoothed out and the flavors opened up quickly. We rarely empty a bottle overnight so it's nice that we can just hold the aerator over the glass and pour whatever we want instead of pouring into another container. I love that it comes with its own stand and is so easy to clean and I just make sure to rinse everything right after use. Otherwise I noticed a very slight red tint on the clear parts after the first 1-2 uses. I don't like that it's plastic, but it vents a lot faster than the stainless steel rabbit aerator we tried. Arrived very well packaged in a sturdy box - you can definitely give it as a gift. I love it very much!
