I have a lower Sonicare and a higher Sonicare. The lower-end Sonicare came with regular (Simply Clean?) standard brush heads and the higher-end model came with them, and that's how I discovered them. They are way better than standard and delicate nozzles when you want to clean more. Who knows what they do with the enamel or gum line, but my teeth seem cleaner. If you just want a basic Sonicare and don't use fancy pen settings (sensitive, clear and white, etc.), get the cheapest pen and then upgrade the brush heads, which are mostly interchangeable.
