I bought a ballistic iPhone 7 case with a hole over the cover. the Apple logo and was pleased that opening with the magnet worked well. No modifications were required and the case holds the magnet in place without the use of 3M glue. If it works I'll use glue. There are other brands that showcase the Apple logo and this might work for them as well.
