Review on AMD Ryzen 3900X 24 Thread Processor by Janis Cerins ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good product, I advise you to try it.

An excellent choice for your money, but you need to cool it either with water or with a good tower, the idle rate is 4.2 GHz, which gives a good heat boost, manual overclocking does not make sense - there will simply be nothing to cool such a monster. The cooler, which is BOX, rustles even at low speeds, and when it accelerates, a vile squeal is guaranteed. I hope there will be enough capacity for 5-7 years. the motherboard from MSI overestimated the voltage to 1.49, in connection with which the pebble warmed itself up to 80 degrees in idle time with the box cooler at maximum speed. I managed to lower the volts manually to 1.375, the processor does not want to work normally below, I installed a good tower, the temperatures dropped by an average of 5 - 8 degrees (most likely I set it a little crookedly), but the noise became many times less.

Pros
  • Availability, power reserve.
Cons
  • heat dissipation, VERY noisy BOX cooler, overclocking.
