EDIT: Update 20 months after purchase (original review below) - So far so good. I felt this mattress had a little more "punch" where I sleep. I'm not the type to sleep in the whole bed. I sleep in one place. So when I moved to my new house I changed it and the problem was solved. The place I slept in before shows no signs of "recoil". I sleep alone so I don't know how it affects couples. I'm 5'3", 165 pounds (160 cm, 75 kg). I only recommend a mattress topper because of the porous fabric. I found out about it on fart night from my three year old daughter. I also recommended this mattress to a friend and she did bought her. She sleeps better than on a box spring. I added photos when we unzipped and let the mattress unload. SHE LOVES IT. She says she read conflicting reviews but thought it was worth it because I wouldn't keep quiet about it. Even if she only lives a few years she still thinks it's a worthwhile investment because she sleeps much better and her pain is almost gone. Her FitBit showed a much better sleep pattern. Almost two years later am I'm still in love with this mattress and the frame I bought for it. I've been waiting to write this review after having this mattress for about six months. I want to have a product for a while before writing a review. When this bed arrives, it will be packed in a box about 18" x 18" x 48". This is an approximate storage size. You pull out the bed and unfold it. It will be compressed and folded in half. Then look for a zip on the bed make sure it is down and open the plastic the bed will start to open leave it open 24-48 hours I left it open 48 hours because I'm in moved to a new apartment and had time to do so.I put it on Home Life Cloth Light Beige Cream Linen 51" High Platform Headboard with Queen Slatted Bed - Full Bed Includes 5 Year Warranty 008 Home Life Cloth Light Beige Cream Linen 51" High Platform Headboard with Size Bed "Queen-Size" and looks great. Pros: Comfortable! It's NOT hot. I don't feel like tossing and turning at night. I lay down and sink , but not too much.Lower density.Sheets don't slip off and keep s oh well, that's a big plus. The fabric covering the mattress holds the sheets well and the stitch pattern does not show through on the white sheets. When I sit on the edge to play my guitar, it's the perfect height and my back feels great - better than any chair. Cons: I see a lot of reviews about the smell. I have a hyper sense of smell. The chemical smell dissipated within a few hours. I didn't notice it at all after about six hours. Remove the plastic that makes up the mattress from around the house if you don't want the smell to linger. The mattress is a bit heavy, but that only speaks for the quality of the product. Also, all mattresses are heavy unless they are filled with air. When it's cold, the bed gets harder. When it's hot, the bed is softer. Keep this in mind when adjusting the room temperature. And when I say cold, I mean 35 degrees Fahrenheit. When I left town I turned off the heat and when I came back the bed was thicker than usual. I warmed up the room and it quickly went back to normal. It is softer on hot nights. I doubt you sleep in the cold, so it doesn't matter. All in all, this is a great purchase. I am pleased that Revain has become a recommended product. It's convenient and at a good price. The king-size bed can be easily combined with a slatted frame and ensures restful sleep even after six months. I will try to remember to rate it again in a year.
