After receiving this toiletry bag I was FINALLY able to part with my old one which I had for over 12 years. It was worn out, besides, I'm in the Bundeswehr, and my old bag was tucked back in camouflage fabric from TWO uniforms. I've never been able to find a replacement big enough to fit everything in, and when I did it was so big it was a small suitcase itself. This bag is the perfect size. It takes everything that was in my old bag and still packs down into a compact size. I really like that you can use it to keep things organized instead of throwing everything into a few big compartments. There are 4 "internal" compartments of slightly different sizes, plus a zipped pocket on the outside. I can unfold it, hang it in the bathroom when traveling, and have easy access to everything I use regularly. Things I don't use often are kept in the outside pocket. There is a compartment that is obviously intended for storing liquids such as aftershave, mouthwash, etc. It is fully enclosed as it has a durable vinyl window on the front. (other compartments have mesh screens). Given the manufacturer's claim of water resistance, this should theoretically keep any spilled liquid in that one compartment. However, this compartment is positioned so that if you put your liquids in the bag right side up when the bag is hanging it will tip over when the bag is closed and carried. This vinyl covered compartment really needed to be where the equal sized mesh compartment sits to keep liquids upright whether the bag is hanging or zipped up and carried. That's a bit of a nitpick and I've never seen anyone give a star for it. However, I hope the manufacturer reads these reviews and swaps these two bays in future releases.
