Review on CRAFTSMAN CMEW231 Random Orbit Sander: Experience High-Performance Sanding by Jason Dahlkemper

Compared to a detail sander, it is more powerful yet gentle enough to work on veneer without punching. Makes sanding furniture and cabinets less tedious and slow. The dust bag doesn't pick up all the dust but it helps a lot and picks up more than my sander. I haven't had any problems with jamming when I apply a little pressure. I don't notice the round scars on the wood after sanding that you sometimes see with random orbital sanders. Runs quieter and softer in hand than my grinders. However, there is still a need for grinders for corners and edges. Velcro works great.
