Review on FD811 White Cabin Air Filter 3-Pack for Mazda 3, 6, CX-5 - Replaces CF11811 and KD45-61-J6X by Kevin Stephan

Original filter provided was fine. But my wife and daughter have respiratory issues (COPD and Asthma) and standard filters only provide basic filtration. I've noticed with our home filters that higher quality 1900s and better filters filter out a lot more of the air we breathe. When I replaced our standard homemade filters with a filter and then replaced the used filter with a new one, the difference was absolutely amazing! collected from the air we breathe! It was amazing to see how much material was filtered out. And the amount of dust particles we had to brush down our home furniture has been drastically reduced! Most notably, I noticed how much less sneezing and constant blowing my wife and daughter started blowing their noses. Not to mention reducing the use of facial tissues. Both used less of their respective inhalers as well as albuterol. So when I found out I could buy filters for my new Mazda Type 3 Sedan I wasted no time. We've only had this car for 2 weeks and the standard filter worked fine but we did notice how much dust was building up in the cabin. After replacing the standard filter with these new activated carbon, bamboo and electrostatic papers, what a difference! We have found that the dust floating around the car makes the interior cleaner. Remember, when you open windows or doors, you will see the dust you see in the reflection, but after a few minutes of running the fan, there is a noticeable improvement. This filter was also easy to replace. I watched a video on how to change my filter, but the 3rd December 2018 Mazda type we own was easier to replace than the video shows. I was able to squeeze the glove box tabs, and as soon as I did that, I saw the filter on the back. I pulled out the old filter and lifted the tab slightly to slide it over the glove box, took our new filter and pressed it into place. You'll have to use enough force to close the glove box's tab, but once that's done the new filter just snaps into place. And what an improvement in filtering airborne particles! After just a few minutes of fan operation, you'll notice that there are fewer airborne particles, which means you're not breathing these substances into your lungs! Don't forget you are buying 3 filters for the same price. Compare this to buying just 1 standard filter or any other filter with this filtration. Hope that helps.
