Review on ⚡️ DJI CP.PT.000343 Phantom Expandable Battery Charging Hub: Convenient White Charging Solution by Trian Wright

I live in upstate New York where there are weeks when it's too cold to fly. I bought this because you want your batteries to maintain an optimal charge when you need to store batteries. This winter we spent 10 weeks in the south. Before leaving, I put the charged batteries in the charger in storage mode. When I came back the batteries were dead and beyond repair. DJI does not offer to help me repair or replace batteries. They tell me that the charger discharges the batteries to the optimum level but doesn't recharge them to that level if they fall below it, so they continue to discharge to an unrecoverable state. This is not mentioned in the product notices or in the instructions accompanying the charger and is no different than how batteries are supposed to work when not in the charger. If you want to charge 3 batteries at the same time, this might be for you, but if you are interested in storage mode, be careful. Check out the DJI forums and you will find dozens of people who have suffered this fate. I have relied on their product to protect my investment and now I am out of $300 batteries. I love my Phantom but will never buy a DJI product again.
