Bought and installed on 18.03. I'll be posting this on September 18th, 2021 to update you on how the fit and finish are holding up, especially the finish as they have a reputation for coming off after a certain point. The included March 18 image will include the September 18 image when I check. Fit and finish is great, screws and installation are good, acceptable but not perfect, alignment is acceptable in spec. I can confirm what still says there is a gap. Longevity will be discussed in my follow up 6 month follow up. If I answer earlier, it's because the paint and texture ran out quicker. they are all of that. But hopefully that won't happen. About other comments. So I figured I would take this teat completely apart to CLEAN it because some of the buttons were sticking and I wanted to know why. So: 1) For heaven's sake, wash your hands before playing with the controller. the buttons get stuck because the controller button area collects so much dirt from hands and other debris from the environment. I wiped the rubber gasket and buttons liberally with 90% isopropyl alcohol (SPECIFIC PARTS DO NOT WEAR LIQUID ON THE CONTROLLER). I removed so much junk it almost pissed me off. 2) SO as they say in terms of recessed buttons, non-functional fit etc. etc. etc. This may be the case. I only installed one of these. But on mine I have thoroughly cleaned each button as well as the rubber pad that the buttons are in and cleaned all the contact points between this new shell, the screws and the controller and yes there is a gap but the buttons have been lifted up nicely, the bumpers and triggers work ok, the profile button works the same as before and it's very nice. 3) There is a photo after 6 months so you know if the finish has held up.
