I tested this product on a very hot and humid summer day when I could not get to a shower to wash my hair. Instead, following the instructions, after vigorous shaking, holding can at proper distance from hair, sprayed roots.Now, it's possible that the weather may have somehow "affected" the product in use, but this came out and instead of a dry spray, it was sticky and liquid-y. To say that my hair was in worse condition than when I started, is to understate the post-spray condition of my hair.But for me, worse than that, was the smell. I can't even describe it but it was very unpleasant.In retrospect, perhaps the product was defective. It might explain the stickiness of the spray and/or the smell.I've used other dry shampoos before and really never had this kind of experience. I should say that I'm a big fan, and user, of John Frieda products, which made this all the more disappointing.
