Meh.I have oily, frizzy hair that I have to wash daily. I've tried the no poo method and dozens of other shampoos. I don't want to wash daily so this seemed like a great alternative. I used this for a week. And while it did cut down on the oiliness on the second day, I found I needed a clarifying shampoo to get all the dry shampoo product out. It is a catch-22. I have tried this dry shampoo several times now. I'm not really sure how well it works or if I am using it wrong. I have long hair and trying to use this on sections of the hair it took too much time with my arms up in the air (with my arthritis that is a no-no). While I have always loved anything John Frieda, this product does not make my list of great dry shampoos. My scalp was really white after use and after working out the powder just became a big white chunk in my hair.

It's a pretty big burst and one would do best to hold the can farther away than maybe normal when first using this to make sure you don't overdo it before getting used to it. It works, but i don't care for the smell. The good news is the odor doesn't remain and it works really well. it leaves a tiny bit of powder but it is really easy to work in your hair. I kinda can't wait till i'm finished with it.

More white residue than most dry shampoos I’ve used- took a lot of brushing to disperse. I would not recommend for individuals with dark hair unless you want badger stripes.

The description says no white residue, but this is a typical dry shampoo that goes on white. It takes a significant amount of rubbing and brushing to get it to disappear on my dark hair.It makes my hair look more matte than I'd like .It provides a lot of texture, and the scent is pleasant, not overwhelming. I'm probably not the greatest judge of dry shampoo because I've used, like, two kinds, but I was perfectly happy with this. I like the luxurious volume line, and have also used the mousse and hairspray. No noticeable residue.

Works as well as other brands like Living Proof that I’ve tried. Once it’s in, it does take out the greasiness of unwashed hair and thicken it for styling. Does what it says it will.
