Would work in a pinch

She said this wasn't something she would use regularly, but in a pinch, it was acceptable. It did make her hair look better before a shower, a little shinier, and when she used a curling iron on it, the hair didn't clump at all like it would had she just tried to get by with some hair spray.

Pros
  • Love it
Cons
  • DO NOT buy this product. The product does not blend properly and looks like I have dandruff.

Very cold, some starchy residue

Cold going on. Quite cold, in fact. But it felt good in a hundred degree weather. The rice starch did not show initially but showed up later when it dried, so I had to touch up the brown with Viviscal. Can't say my hair stood higher or otherwise reacted though. But I could use some of that cold starch to get to sleep.

Pros
  • simply spray and go
Cons
  • The volume boost is minimal and not worth the price of the product

Great low cost dry shampoo

Great for the price point. Normally use Bumble and Bumble, but this is easier on the pocket book. Smells good, but leaves a white residue. The residue goes away after about 20 minutes, so this is not a spray and go product. Not a bad product to try and not feel guilty about using more than normally since it is very inexpensive.

Pros
  • Protects hair from heat styling damage
Cons
  • The product can cause hair to become static

Do not buy- cannot return

Do not buy- cannot return due to amazons return policy.1) the scent is SO strong - do not use before bed or the scent will keep you awake.2) this bottle lasted 4 uses! 4! No.

Pros
  • Easy to find at most drugstores and online retailers
Cons
  • The formula can be difficult to brush through hair, causing breakage

Meh, its OK in my review

So I have used John Frieda products in the past, I have no strong feelings either way about John Frieda products. This dry shampoo is nothing special. It does help with oil, but there aren't really any noticeable volumizing properties. Also the sprayer was not the best. Came out a little bit too much at a time and left my hair feeling stiff. It's ok, but not my first choice.

Pros
  • Offers a quicker alternative to blow drying hair
Cons
  • The dry shampoo can cause hair to become weighed down and limp

Works well with little to no residue

I like this product because it works well and does not leave a white residue. If you overspray just have to comb out. It doesn't make hair stiff nor sticky and does add some volume although not a huge amount. It has a slight scent but not overpowering.I recommend this product.

Pros
  • Great for use after a workout, in-between washes or when pressed for time
Cons
  • The product can cause hair to become frizzy and uncontrollable
