The only pump that can stay plugged in
I searched through pretty much every pump I could find to find a pump that can stay plugged in and still work when water and the required function is on are. I've tried things in the past like a pond pump that shuts itself off automatically when it's dry, but even the instructions for that pump clearly state that it shouldn't be left plugged in.
