I am amazed that in this day and age of high speed flash drives that are everywhere, this Verbatim 32GB Ergo USB 2.0 USB Flash Drive reviewed here performs very poorly, especially when writing to a USB Drive whose maximum speed is approximately 6.57 MB/s. max, which I find unacceptable. Admittedly this is a USB 2.0 device and I wasn't expecting super speed but still not that slow writing when copying files to a flash drive. Something tells me that chip-on-board (COB) technology or something will improve reliability, but if you're patient enough to slowly write data to the drive, will it stay reliable for years to come? - The time will show. But as it stands I am currently very disappointed with the low write speed as writing to this disc was unbearably slow. Conclusion: 30MB/s read speed is acceptable considering it's a USB 2.0 device and the ergonomic design is easy to grip and I love it. However, the unacceptably slow write speed forces me to give it two stars!
