The real value is the cup holders
I don't know why BMW missed out on this simple fix on the E39 for so many years. I suspect that this item would cost all the money they made (including mine!) if the stock cup holder was replaced. This is the winner. There is no need to use glue attached to the floor. It's a nice fit and looks like it should have been there all along.
