I was very happy to find this for my beloved 2001 BMW 530i. The original flimsy coasters "gone" years ago and it was impossible to fit any drink in until I found this simple but perfect use at Revain. Brings a smile to my face with every use. Thank you!

I don't know why BMW missed out on this simple fix on the E39 for so many years. I suspect that this item would cost all the money they made (including mine!) if the stock cup holder was replaced. This is the winner. There is no need to use glue attached to the floor. It's a nice fit and looks like it should have been there all along.

Fits perfectly in cavity, uses two pieces of 3M 50psi tape. Inch that seems to be holding up great and after some rubbing alcohol on the tray where it's attached it works amazing! The left holder is large enough for 20 oz. A bottle of Gatorade, and the right side fits 12 oz. great can. See photos. I would highly recommend it and only wish I had bought it a year ago when I first bought my 2002 525i.

Finally we can do without this coupling. This trucker is one of the best plastic things I own. I can finally drive my suburban streets and make my own highway out of it. I love my car but the Germans obviously didn't really want us to have real cup holders with this series. I didn't know this product existed and was very happy when I found it. It came, it fit perfectly. It will hold most metal cups very well if it has a standard base. It can be difficult to place in a park with cups on display at the top, but it's easy to get around. I have a long commute and don't need to hold my cup all the time. worth your money

I have had two E39's that I have replaced the factory cup holders on. In the first car I used a different brand but when I saw this model with a slot between two cups I realized I would have a place for my phone. When the phone is in the slot and I make a sharp turn, the phone pops out, but it's fine in normal driving. If you have a BMW E39 and you want the best cup holder, don't wait a minute! This is a well designed and executed solution to the problematic cup holders in the BMW e39. Like almost all e39s, my cup holders are broken, and when they're not broken, they're a terrible design. Outstanding product. Fit well. I had to remove the old cup holder as I no longer need it. BMW should have thought of that. As you can see from the picture, an Apple 6 plus or any other large cell phone will not fit inside. Samsung S7 fits perfectly even in the body with room to manoeuvre.
