Review on Enhanced Mobility with Mobile Pixels Duex Max 14.1" Portable Monitor by Junior Batiste

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works very well, weighs down the top of the laptop.

I bought it so that if I need to work remotely I don't lose the comfort of using the screen. I hesitated because it's not exactly cheap. However, I am very happy to have made this purchase. I have used this screen several times over the past few months and have been happy with it. The cable that goes to connect the screen to the computer can be a little annoying, but it's necessary and certainly doesn't make me regret the purchase. The screen doesn't seem to drain my laptop's battery very quickly. I keep the I Saver setting on both screens, which can save battery life. There's just one thing that worries me a little, although admittedly it's to be expected. That said, adding a second screen makes the laptop heavy, if you will. The fact of the matter is that if you tilt the laptop screen back too much, it will tilt down or fold down. After all, it holds the entire second screen and its mount, so it makes sense that it's heavier. You just need to know where to put your computer and how far away from the screen you are. I would recommend not leaving the screen extended when you leave the area, even for a few minutes without touching the screen. back and close the laptop to make sure it doesn't tip over. I'm not sure if there's any other way to solve this problem other than some kind of stand to support the extra weight of the screen. Otherwise it's a great purchase, I have no regrets and I hope to be able to use it for some time to come.

Pros
  • Was unsure which monitor to buy but was very happy with this portable monitor.
Cons
  • The magnets are very bad and they won't stay on my computer making it basically unusable.
