Made of plastic and not very strong. Of course, they will serve their purpose and look good. I had trouble fitting both properly without popping out. But after a few minutes I finally got them where they were supposed to stay. When reinstalling, do not overtighten the screws or the plastic will break. Also why don't they offer black screws to match the finish. I had to use the original chrome screws. You will notice a difference between chrome and black, but I don't really care, but others might not like it. In general they serve the purpose I bought them for. I also have black Euroshields that protect the headlights from rocks and branches so they look good together. I just don't understand why everything you buy now is cheap chinese plastic junk.
