I had a hard time choosing these as the reviews weren't great. When I took off my chrome ones, it turned out they were "plastic" too. I used standard stainless steel screws and they look fine. In the picture I changed one by one so you can see what it looks like. I really like my new look! Yes.

Appears to be a well made frame. I love the look of the black finish instead of the shiny faux chrome that was on my TJ. A few years ago I took the factory upholstery and painted it, it was torn and looked bad. This part appears to be black plastic, not coated, so there are no chips.

Overall very satisfied. Seems a little pricey for two plastic rings but they will do if you have the correct cover on the right side of the car and the holes lined up correctly. Black plastic compared to existing painted caps that were peeling. Overall very happy with the look and not afraid of the paint peeling off.

Cheap plastic, impossible to align two holes with any faceplate. I bet they'll be gone in less than a year, but given that they won't fit in my 2005 Wrangler, they won't stay installed. I can buy a lined spray can and paint the stock. Parts for less than half the price of these things, and at least I know the stock parts will fit.

All 3 holes on the passenger side were perfectly aligned but I think they sent me 2 bezels on the passenger side because no matter how I aligned the driver side bezel I couldn't align the 3 holes. I ended up having to drill a small hole in the bezel to get the bottom screw in. The top two lined up well. Made of plastic and not very strong. Of course, they will serve their purpose and look good. I had trouble fitting both properly without popping out. But after a few minutes I finally got them where they were supposed to stay. When reinstalling, do not overtighten the screws or the plastic will break. Received on 01/20/2018. You look good. But that's all. Regardless of how you orient yourself, I was only able to match two holes on each side. I lined up the two holes at the top of either side. Although the holes are slightly offset towards the front of the car. Only with those two holes could I see where the plastic would discharge and shift the holes a bit. However, the lower vents on the passenger and driver sides were about two inches to the right of the front of the car. Metal is the best
