Review on Tiebao Ultralight Breathable Non Slip Professional Shoes by Roman Palmer

Great shoe but not ideal for SPD.

Measure your shoe size in millimeters and euros! US size is wrong. I usually wear US size 9.5, EUR size 43. I bought US size 10 shoes and they fit me perfectly. The insoles on my size 1 Bontrager fit perfectly without modification, so the size 10 shoes are about half the size of the regular US 10. At first they seemed too tight and I almost sent them back. However, because the upper is fully knit and uses laces, it will stretch slightly over time. If you loosen the laces a little and wear them for a few hours, the shoe "relaxes" a bit and adapts to the shape of your foot quite well. They feel fantastic compared to faux leather synthetic shoes. Included. It is great. Very breathable, extremely light, SPD or SPD-SL spikes can be used. The insoles are perforated and allow air to flow well through the shoes. They are much cooler than my MTB SPD shoes which have no airflow in the sole. I first fitted them with SPD and used them on my mountain bike. No idea. The smooth bottom of the shoe means the SPD cleats are not recessed like regular SPD shoes. They slide off SPD pedals very easily if you don't place them correctly. Not suitable for rough terrain or steep inclines. They're probably fine for everyday use, but they're not suitable for mountain bikes. If you're using SPD spikes on a road bike, they'll probably fit better due to their extremely light weight, but they're still easy to slip off if your clamp isn't perfect. As SPD-SL shoes, they are amazing. The spike is very tight and the shoe is very light. The sole isn't very stiff, but stiff enough that I don't feel a significant difference between these and carbon fiber running shoes. The sole is also quite durable if you don't plan to take long walks in it. I've only had them for a few weeks but there are no visible signs of wear on the upper and just a little abrasion on the soles from stop-and-go asphalt traffic. not suitable for every type of MTB use. Use them for what they are good at and they are way better than their price would lead you to believe.

Pros
  • NON-SLIP AND DURABLE: This shoe's non-slip outsole provides excellent traction and traction even in wet or slippery conditions. This can contribute to your safety and avoid accidents during your trip. In addition, the sturdy construction of the shoe makes it durable even with regular use.
Cons
  • An ultra-lightweight feature can affect reliability and durability, require frequent replacement, and increase overall costs.
