I didn't order this kit for a skateboard but for a 6 year old daughter's scooter. I didn't mount the LED light with the screws provided as I didn't plan to drill into the metal of the scooter. Instead I used double sided tape, velcro and packing tape to attach the lights to the scooter stem. The end result doesn't look very clean but I think it did the job and my kid is happy with it. All that matters is a bright LED light for a cool look and safety on low-light rides. The kit costs $14.99 (as of September 12, 2021) and is well priced. 4 stars.
