I agree with the rest. The setup is a bit of a mess as the moveable bar should be positioned, but I assure you that when assembled properly this table is solid. Very durable - excellent quality and price. However, how you want to use this table is important. If you install it and rarely break and store it? Big. We planned to use it in our living room for eating in front of the TV (just typing it is embarrassing - we should be eating like civilized people at the dining table). I definitely want to be able to pull them out. , install them, disassemble them, then hide them when not in active use. This design is not suitable for this as BOTH sides of the table have this retractable catch. Usually one half of the pole is fixed to the underside of the table top, but with this table both sides can slide out. If you try to pull out one side to fold, the other side will pop out too, making the whole process difficult. I really tried to please but I had to give it back. I need a short break and I'm afraid that once I use it I'll never put it away again and I don't need another permanent fixture in my living room.
