Review on The Ultimate Hunter Hepburn Indoor Ceiling Fan: 52'' Modern Brass Design with LED Light and Wall Control by Sandra Johnson

Terrible follower. Pos. for ceiling fans

I wish I had this fan. When it works, it works well. If that doesn't work, YOU SHOULD until he decides to do the right thing again. Apparently there is a problem with the receiver between the wall control and the fan and that's why you think your house is haunted or the fan is haunted. The light flickers on and off. While it works as it should, there are serious design flaws. Installation was a nightmare. To reverse the fan you need to remove the light ball. There is no plate. If you want to add a remote control, the globe is too small and has nowhere to put it. Copper settings still have ugly white screws and hardware. Hunter customer service is pathetic. They told us that the reason the lights were flickering was the fan controller in the other room. Eh, no. Then there is control of the wall. One of the reasons I stupidly bought this is because people called it Remote. So I thought I might have another wall remote and a new remote. no The old fan control box had to be removed. Had to replace everything (think 2 or 3 ties or a pole or whatever). Then they built this stupid thing into the wall. Here's the problem - you have to "turn it on" first to control the fan. This is because there are BATTERIES in the wall mount. With. but if you think you just go in the room and turn on the light. no You need to press and hold the power button firmly to hold it down. then turn on the light. and if you want it to be light click the button click the button click the button. until it finally occurs to him. not as efficient as my old slider! 3 fan speed controls only. again my old slider settled down and I was able to hit the perfect speed. There is a blue light that flashes every time you touch the controls. Why? why why why the design of this fan is just plain idiotic. but what are you going to do when you've spent $200 installing it and the old fan is already thrown away!?

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Speed
